Planned mainline repair/splicing in Emmet County adds approximately 50 outages at the time of reporting. The Manistee River areas are now included in the Crawford County/Waters service district.
DETAILS: Much like the electrical infrastructure, we need to fully assess the state of our fiber infrastructure. We are evaluating our critical mainline infrastructure and are prioritizing repairs. Fiber cuts are being assessed as electrical restoration progresses. There are hundreds of fiber cuts, and we won’t know the full extent of the damage until all electrical restoration is complete.
